This Privacy Policy explains how Globe2See collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use our website, the Self-service Travel Budgeting Tool, the Human-supported Travel Planning Assistant, and related services.
Globe2See helps you plan before you book. Globe2See is a travel planning and travel budgeting environment, not a booking site.
1. What we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
Account and contact information
- name
- email address
- account details, login-related records, and user role information
- language, country, and communication preferences where provided or selected
Travel planning information
- destinations, dates, trip length, travellers, budget, travel style, route preferences, accommodation preferences, food preferences, activity interests, and other trip criteria
- freeform trip ideas, answers to Digital Assistant questions, saved plan settings, plan versions, and planning history
- transport, accommodation, food, activities, other costs, local information, and related planning outputs generated or saved in the Service
Travel Assistant information
- Travel Assistant request titles, request descriptions, messages, questions, answers, status changes, quotes, approvals, delivered plans, notes, and internal processing records needed to operate the workflow
- files you upload or receive through the request room, including documents, images, travel materials, or other attachments you choose to provide
- communication between you, the Digital Assistant workflow, support, admin users, and human planning specialists involved in the request
Billing and payment information
- billing-related details needed for payments, invoices, tax records, refunds, disputes, and accounting
- payment status, payment method type, country, transaction identifiers, checkout references, Stripe event information, and related payment records received from payment processors
Support, feedback, and diagnostics
- support messages, feedback forms, incident IDs, error codes, screenshots or descriptions you provide, and related follow-up communication
- usage data related to service operation, system logs, timestamps, security events, browser/device information, and interaction events needed for diagnostics, performance, fraud prevention, and service reliability
2. How we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- provide, operate, secure, and maintain Globe2See
- operate the Self-service Travel Budgeting Tool and generate budget-aware planning outputs
- operate the Human-supported Travel Planning Assistant, including request clarification, messages, files, quotes, payments, and delivered plans
- allow the Digital Assistant workflow to clarify travel requests and prepare information for human-supported planning
- allow human planning specialists and authorized admin/support users to prepare, review, deliver, and support Travel Assistant requests
- process purchases, manage credits, manage Travel Assistant payments, and issue Globe2See invoices
- authenticate users and maintain accounts
- communicate with users about service operation, support, payments, requests, plans, incidents, and updates
- improve features, quality, language handling, reliability, and security
- detect fraud, abuse, spam, security issues, and technical problems
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
- enforce our Terms of Service
3. Legal bases
Where GDPR applies, we process personal data on one or more of these legal bases:
- performance of a contract, including providing the requested Globe2See services
- legitimate interests, including service security, improvement, support, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and business administration

4. Payments and invoices
We use Stripe and possibly other payment service providers to process payments. Payment data is handled by those providers under their own privacy terms and security controls.
We may receive limited payment-related information such as payment status, payment method type, country, transaction identifiers, billing details, and tax-related details, but we do not receive or store full payment card details unless expressly stated otherwise.
Globe2See issues its own invoices where invoicing is enabled. Invoice and payment records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, dispute, and compliance purposes.
5. Digital Assistant, human-supported planning, and automated processing
Globe2See may use Digital Assistant workflows, automated processing, translations, transcription, summarization, structured forms, planning logic, and technology-assisted services where used to clarify travel requests, generate planning outputs, support language handling, and help human planning specialists prepare plans.
Authorized Globe2See admin users, support users, and human planning specialists may access Travel Assistant request data, messages, files, quotes, and delivered plans where needed to provide and support the service.
Planning outputs may be probabilistic, incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Important travel decisions and bookings should be independently verified by you directly with official sources or service providers.
6. Third-party providers and external data sources
To operate Globe2See, we may use third-party providers such as hosting providers, email delivery services, security tools, payment processors, analytics tools, advertising tools where enabled, map and route providers, travel data providers, translation or transcription services, technology-assisted service providers, and other operational service providers.
To generate travel-planning outputs, Globe2See may request travel-related, map-related, pricing-related, availability-related, destination-related, or language-related information from external partners or data providers based on the trip request options you submit.
We do not sell users' personal data to advertisers. We do not disclose users' personal data to travel data providers for their own unrelated marketing purposes.
7. Cookies, analytics, and marketing technologies
Globe2See may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics events, advertising measurement tools, or similar technologies for login, security, site functionality, performance, diagnostics, conversion measurement, marketing measurement, and service improvement.
