How Globe2See Globe2See Budgeting Tool Works

Globe2See helps you plan before you book.

How Globe2See Works

Globe2See is a travel planning and travel budgeting environment, not a booking site. It helps you think through the trip before you buy: destinations, timing, travel style, budget, transport choices between destinations, accommodation, activities, food, and other likely trip costs.

You can use Globe2See in two ways: the Self-service Travel Budgeting Tool when you want to build and refine a structured budget-aware plan yourself, or the Human-supported Travel Planning Assistant when you want to send a request and receive a human-prepared travel plan.

Choose the planning path that fits your situation

  • Self-service Travel Budgeting Tool: best when you want to compare before you buy, check likely total trip cost against your budget, refine trip versions, and download your own plan.
  • Human-supported Travel Planning Assistant: best when you want help turning your travel idea into a request, exchanging messages and files, reviewing a quote, and receiving a plan prepared by a human planning specialist.

How the Self-service Travel Budgeting Tool works

  1. Start in the way that feels easiest to you. You can begin with Start from Scratch, Start from Preferences, or Describe My Trip. Describe My Trip lets you write or speak your travel idea freely in your own language instead of filling all planner fields first.
  2. Globe2See turns your trip idea into planner fields. If you use Describe My Trip, Globe2See extracts what it understands from your free written or spoken request and fills Trip Planner fields such as route, dates, travel group, budget, transport, accommodation, and requested planning components.
  3. Review and confirm the route before planning continues. After Describe My Trip fills the planner fields, review and confirm at least the starting point and destinations in Trip Planner. This is especially important because free-text place names are not Google Autocomplete-confirmed yet.
  4. Add extra wishes in Free Request when needed. Free Request remains available as a separate step after the main trip structure is in place. Use it when you want to add priorities, exceptions, or special wishes that do not fit neatly into the main planner fields.
  5. Generate your first Full Plan. Once your request is ready, Globe2See builds your first Full Plan. A fuller request may take a bit more time because it usually requires more search and comparison work. After that, Globe2See opens Plan Summary and shows the overall picture of the trip without revealing all details immediately.
  6. Review the summary first. The first summary helps you judge whether the trip direction looks right, how realistic it seems, and how it compares with your budget before you go deeper.
  7. Unlock details with planning credit. If you want to open Plan Details, save the plan, or download the PDF, Globe2See asks you to add credit. The first credit payment unlocks the detailed plan and also supports likely next planning steps, such as refinements, comparisons, and updated plan versions.
  8. Refine, compare, and improve. After unlocking your plan, you can return to Trip Planner and change destinations, timing, budget, group setup, preferences, or other criteria. Then you can generate a new version and compare it with your earlier version.
  9. Continue while credit is available. As you keep planning, your available credit decreases gradually. When it reaches zero, Globe2See asks you to add more credit so planning can continue.
  10. Save and reuse your planning work. Your current plan stays in working memory while you continue planning. You can save a plan, start another one, return to an earlier plan, and continue working across multiple trip options.
  11. View results in your own language or in English. At every stage of planning, you can choose whether to view the planning results in your own language or in English as the base language. Globe2See supports 50+ written languages.
  12. Finish with your final Full Plan. Once you have explored enough versions and reached the trip you really want, bring all relevant components back into the planner and generate your final Full Plan. Then you can save it and download it as a PDF for review, sharing, or later use.

Trial User option for the Self-service Travel Budgeting Tool

New users can also begin as Trial Users. A Trial User receives a temporary account that stays active for 24 hours. During that time, the user can try Trip Planner, use Describe My Trip, and generate Plan Summary without payment.

If the Trial User stops at that point, no payment is required. If the Trial User wants to open Plan Details, Globe2See asks the user to sign up first. After successful signup, the trial plan is transferred into the new real account. Then the first credit is requested, and after successful payment the same plan opens with full user rights and features.

How the Human-supported Travel Planning Assistant works

  1. Send your travel request. Start with your trip idea, destinations, timing, travel group, budget, travel style, special wishes, and any supporting information you already have.
  2. The Digital Assistant helps clarify the request. You may be asked clarifying questions so the request becomes easier for the planning team to understand. You can add messages and files where they help explain your situation.
  3. Review the quote before human planning starts. If the request is suitable for the Travel Assistant service, Globe2See can prepare a planning-service quote. The quote covers the assistant planning work, not the final cost of flights, hotels, activities, restaurants, or other travel services.
  4. Pay securely through Stripe when you accept the quote. Payments are handled by Stripe. Globe2See does not collect or see your payment card details.
  5. A human planning specialist prepares the plan. After the quote and payment steps are complete, the planning specialist prepares a human-supported travel plan with recommendations, useful links, and supporting materials where relevant.
  6. Receive the delivered plan. The delivered plan may include messages, files, links, and plan versions. You can review it before making your own booking decisions directly with the relevant service providers.

How Globe2See supports budget-aware planning

Globe2See aims to help you compare before you buy. In the Self-service Travel Budgeting Tool, your own trip budget helps guide the search and comparison process. If your wishes and constraints cannot realistically stay within budget, Globe2See shows the comparison between your target budget and the estimated real trip cost.

In the Human-supported Travel Planning Assistant, your budget and travel style help the planning specialist understand what kind of options may be suitable. The Assistant service still focuses on planning before booking, not on making bookings for you.

A note about transport

Globe2See compares transport choices between destinations, such as flights and possible ground transport between destinations, when those choices are relevant to the route.

For local transport inside destinations, Globe2See does not estimate detailed taxi, rideshare, or car rental costs. Instead, it helps users find useful provider information such as operators, addresses, phone numbers, and Google Maps links. Approximate public transport can be reflected at a broader cost level, but detailed local transport pricing should still be checked independently.

Payments, invoices, privacy, and trust

Payments are handled by Stripe, Globe2See's payment partner. Globe2See does not collect or see your payment card details. Payment method data is handled by Stripe. For each payment, Globe2See issues an invoice and sends it to your email.

Your relationship with Globe2See is governed by the Terms of Service, and your data privacy is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

Important booking responsibility

Globe2See does not make bookings for you. Before you buy or reserve anything, check current prices, availability, opening hours, terms, route feasibility, visa or entry requirements, health and safety information, and provider conditions directly with the relevant official source or service provider.
